PERSONALIZED RACE TRAINING

5K & 10K Training Plans

These programs can be geared towards beginners, intermediate, or advanced runners. In 6-8 weeks you will slowly progress your running to build to the ultimate goal of a 5k or 10k distance. These programs are individualized based on your current fitness level and previous running experience. Programs can include run/walk method for first-time runners to gradually incorporate running safely and efficiently.

Half Marathon Training Plans

This program includes a personalized 10-week daily program as well as coaching throughout the entire training period. My running programs are based off of your goal pace and goal finish time. It's important to actually go slower on specific days and push yourself on other days, which is where intelligent program design comes into play. Weekly check-ins take place to ensure everything is going well or if we need to tweak your program at all. Clients can reach out with any and all questions with regard to the running program, specific race strategies, or general advice and tips.

Marathon Training Plans

This program includes a personalized 18-20 week training program built off of your goal pace and goal finish time. A marathon is a completely different animal than the half marathon so this program includes special considerations for the marathon athlete. Everything from speed workouts, mid, short, and long distance training runs, as well as race day hydration and nutrition strategies. Weekly check-ins take place to ensure everything is going well or if we need to tweak your program at all. Clients can reach out with any and all questions with regard to the running program, specific race strategies, or general advice and tips.

Trail Runs & Obstacle Race Training Plans

Due to the inherent differences and complexities of obstacle/trail races, this program's duration is adjusted for each individual and race distance. Obstacle race training will involve a combination of both running and conditioning workouts each week to build stamina, agility, and power for all necessary obstacles. Clients will receive a weekly schedule of running workouts as well as 2-3 days of conditioning workouts dependent on the individuals goals and current fitness level. Conditioning exercises can accommodate both fitness center equipment and at-home bodyweight exercises if fitness center use is not available. The overall goal of this program is to ensure the client is ready for all obstacles by #1 building a base strength for safety and execution and #2 to power performance for mastery.
